Solid wood is a living thing practically for a lifetime so, environmental conditions matter: ideal temperatures are 15-25° C and humidity limits 47-57% according to the relevant bibliography.

Special attention needs to be paid, no direct sunlight exposure, keep a good distance from heat sources (fireplaces, radiators, etc) and humid places.

Although noble and precious woods have a very good behavior in environmental conditions’ changes, taking good care of our drums is a wise thing.
